The staff enters and leaves through leaded-glass doors on either side of the central courtyard that lead to the bar, the wine cellar, and intimate dining rooms. You&#8217;ll want to dine alfresco, as ceiling fans keep everything cool. A fountain bubbles on one side of the courtyard, and rows of potted fig trees surround the wrought-iron caf\u00e9 tables. The place is named for chef Ivo Bignami, and the kitchen turns out specialties of his native Milan. For a lighter meal, or a first course big enough to share with your date, order the light, fluffy gnocchi. Entr\u00e9es include a wide range of pasta and risotto dishes, plus such mouthwatering temptations as filet mignon in truffle sauce.
